It’s about more than just the game!
Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) can be a very powerful resource for any business today, just as youth sports can be an important aspect in the development of our future leaders. Many view organized sports for today’s youth as a way to keep them out of trouble, but it can be so much more than that. It can be an outlet to teach responsibility, respect, and integrity. Athletic organizers are quick to remind parents that “it’s just a game” in order to keep the vocal sidelines in check, and believe me, this phrase has its place. However, in terms of IMC I would like to take the opposite viewpoint and prove that there is the potential for youth sports to be so much more than just a game.
